Do work that matters
We have an exciting opportunity for an Analyst to join our high-performing team. Working alongside Relationship Executives, Product Specialists and Risk partners, you'll provide financial analysis, credit recommendations and deal support across a diverse portfolio of customers including manufacturing, retail, hospitality, professional services, transport and wholesale trade.
This is a highly collaborative, client-focused role where you'll partner with Relationship Executives to support both existing and prospective customers. You'll analyse financial performance, prepare credit submissions, conduct annual reviews and provide insights that support sound lending decisions and exceptional client outcomes.
More specifically, you will:
- Prepare high-quality credit submissions, providing clear analysis and recommendations to support credit decision-making.
- Conduct financial and credit analysis, assessing cash flow, business performance, industry dynamics and key risks.
- Support annual reviews, new lending opportunities, term extensions and transaction execution.
- Partner with Relationship Executives to understand client needs and identify opportunities for growth.
- Collaborate with Product Specialists, Risk and internal stakeholders to deliver outstanding customer outcomes.
- Maintain high standards of compliance, governance and data quality.
We're looking for someone who:
- Has strong financial analysis and credit assessment skills, with the ability to interpret financial statements and assess business performance.
- Is passionate about supporting businesses and helping customers achieve their growth objectives.
- Brings experience in commercial banking, business banking, accounting, financial services or a similar analytical environment.
- Understands lending structures, credit analysis and risk management principles.
- Is a confident communicator who can build strong relationships with customers and stakeholders.
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment and can manage competing priorities effectively.
- Holds tertiary qualifications in Finance, Commerce, Accounting, Economics or a related discipline (preferred).
