Description
The Risk Reporting role is critical to effectively managing, monitoring, and communicating the company's risk exposure across portfolios and risk pools. Individuals in this role provide comprehensive risk analysis, exposure monitoring, and reporting of inherent risks, while ensuring regulatory compliance with requirements. The role includes ownership of the portfolio limit excess lifecycle, encompassing the identification, monitoring, escalation, investigation, remediation, and closure of portfolio limit breaches. In the event of a portfolio limit breach, individuals perform detailed excess investigations, assess root causes and potential impacts, and coordinate with stakeholders to support timely resolution and appropriate governance.
The role leverages advanced analytics, automation, and AI-driven solutions to enhance risk monitoring, reporting efficiency, and decision-making capabilities. In addition, individuals design, develop, and maintain Tableau dashboards and visualizations, including charts, graphs, tables, and interactive reporting tools that provide meaningful insights into portfolio risk exposures and trends. By delivering an accurate and transparent view of the WCR profile, this role supports informed decision-making, strengthens risk governance and ensures compliance with internal policies.
Responsibilities:
Oversee the development and implementation of comprehensive risk management frameworks for Wholesale Credit Risk.
Manage the end-to-end portfolio limit excess lifecycle, including identification, monitoring, escalation, remediation tracking, and closure of limit breaches in accordance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
Perform detailed limit excess investigations to identify root causes of portfolio limit breaches, assess potential risk impacts, engage relevant stakeholders, and ensure timely resolution and documentation.
Produce regular and ad hoc analyses on portfolio risk exposures, limit utilization, and excess trends, providing actionable insights to senior management and risk committees.
Leverage, develop, and deploy AI-driven solutions to enhance reporting processes, automate data analysis, improve risk monitoring capabilities, and increase operational efficiency across risk management activities.
Partner with technology, data, and business teams to identify opportunities for AI adoption and implement innovative solutions supporting decision-making and risk oversight.
Utilize Tableau to design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and management reports, including the creation of charts, graphs, tables, and visual analytics that communicate key risk metrics and portfolio performance effectively.
Ensure data quality, consistency, and accuracy within Tableau visualizations and reporting outputs by performing regular validation and reconciliation activities.
Support continuous improvement initiatives by automating reporting processes, enhancing visualization capabilities, and optimizing risk reporting frameworks.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organization.
Serve as a trusted advisor to Team Manager and Senior Management on risk-related matters, providing guidance and support.
Focuses on highest-priority work aligned to business goals; helps others effectively manage competing priorities.
Recommended Qualifications:
5-8 years of experience in Risk Management, Credit Risk, Portfolio Monitoring, Exposure Management, Regulatory Reporting, or a related function within the Financial Services industry.
Advanced experience with Tableau, including the design, development, and maintenance of interactive dashboards, reports, charts, graphs, and data visualizations for risk management and executive reporting purposes.
Demonstrated ability to leverage Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning, and advanced analytics solutions to enhance risk reporting, automate processes, improve monitoring capabilities, and generate actionable business insights.
Experience managing large datasets and performing complex data analysis to support risk measurement, exposure monitoring, limit management, and regulatory reporting requirements.
Strong knowledge of Credit Risk Management principles, including risk identification, exposure monitoring, concentration risk assessment, limit management, stress testing, and portfolio analytics.
Solid understanding of Counterparty Credit Risk (CCR) concepts, exposure measurement methodologies, risk mitigation techniques, and associated regulatory requirements.
Comprehensive knowledge of financial instruments and loan market transactions, including corporate lending products, syndicated loans, revolving credit facilities, term loans, derivatives, and structured financing transactions.
Strong project management and change management capabilities, with a proven ability to lead multiple initiatives, prioritize competing deadlines, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
Exceptional quantitative, analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills, with the ability to translate complex risk information into meaningful business insights.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to present risk analytics and portfolio insights clearly to senior management, risk committees, and regulatory audiences.
Proven track record of building strong partnerships and collaborating effectively across Risk, Business, Technology, Data, and Regulatory functions.
Professional certifications such as FRM and CFA or equivalent risk management, financial analysis, data analytics, or AI-related certifications are highly desirable.
