Description
We are looking for a Facilities Maintenance, EHS, Shipping & Receiving Technician to join our team! In this role you will be responsible for supporting facility operations through building maintenance and repair, Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) compliance, and shipping/receiving activities. This position spends approximately 75% of time on building maintenance, repairs, and EHS responsibilities and 25% on shipping and receiving functions. The role works closely with site personnel to ensure a safe, compliant, and efficient workplace.

Building Maintenance & Repair (Approximately 60%)
- Perform routine inspections of building systems and equipment.
- Complete preventive maintenance tasks on facility equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair minor electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical issues.
- Perform general carpentry, painting, drywall, flooring, and building repairs.
- Coordinate with outside contractors and service providers as required.
- Respond to facility work orders in a timely manner.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and maintenance records.
- Support office moves, furniture installation, and workspace modifications.
- Monitor facility conditions and recommend improvements.
- Ensure building systems operate safely and efficiently.

Environmental Health & Safety (Approximately 15%)
- Conduct routine safety inspections and audits of the facility.
- Assist with maintaining OSHA and company safety compliance requirements.
- Support hazard identification, risk assessments, and corrective actions.
- Maintain safety documentation, permits, and inspection records.
- Manage hazardous and non-hazardous waste collection and disposal activities.
- Assist with emergency response planning and preparedness programs.
- Coordinate safety training and employee awareness activities.
- Investigate and document incidents, near misses, and corrective actions.
- Maintain spill response equipment, first aid supplies, and safety signage.
- Promote a strong safety culture throughout the facility.

Shipping & Receiving (Approximately 25%)
- Receive incoming materials, packages, and equipment.
- Verify shipments against packing slips and purchase orders.
- Inspect incoming goods for damage or discrepancies.
- Process outgoing shipments using approved carriers and shipping systems.
- Package materials to ensure safe transport.
- Maintain shipping and receiving records and documentation.
- Organize inventory and storage areas.
- Deliver received items to internal customers.
- Coordinate freight pickups and deliveries.
- Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts (if certified).

Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 3+ years of facilities maintenance, building operations, or trades related experience preferred.
- Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
- Understanding of Environmental Health & Safety practices and regulations.
- Experience with shipping and receiving operations preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret manuals, work orders, and safety procedures.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and computerized maintenance systems preferred.
- Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification.
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities.

Physical Requirements
- Frequently lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
- Stand, walk, bend, climb ladders, and work in various positions throughout the day.
- Work indoors and outdoors in varying environmental conditions.
- Safely operate facility maintenance tools and equipment.
- Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.

Pay Range
The salary range for this position (in local currency) is 20.34-37.74
