The Marketing Director, Patel Conservatory develops and leads year-round marketing strategies that support the Conservatory's mission, increase enrollment, build community awareness, and strengthen engagement with students, families, donors, and community partners. This role serves as a strategic member of the Conservatory's leadership team, focusing on relationship building lifelong learning pathways and promoting the impact of arts education.

Essential Functions:
Strategic Marketing Leadership
- Develop and execute integrated annual marketing strategies that support enrollment, retention, revenue, and institutional growth goals.
- Participate in strategic planning and translate organizational priorities into targeted marketing campaigns.
- Create marketing plans for year-round programs, including classes, camps, productions, scholarships, and special initiatives.
- Strengthen the Patel Conservatory's brand as a leading destination for performing arts education locally and nationally.
Enrollment & Student Recruitment
- Lead recruitment and marketing efforts for all Conservatory programs, including dance, theatre, music, arts and health, and community engagement.
- Develop strategies to attract, enroll, and retain students.
- Monitor enrollment trends and collaborate with admissions and registration teams to maximize enrollment opportunities.
Brand Development, Digital Marketing & Communication
- Ensure marketing materials reflect the quality and prestige of the Patel Conservatory.
- Oversee digital marketing strategies, including website content, email marketing, social media, digital advertising, and search optimization.
- Maintain a comprehensive annual communications calendar that reflects the Conservatory's continuous program cycle.
Creative Direction, Collaboration & Institutional Partnerships
- Lead the Development of creative marketing materials for enrollment, performance, fundraising, and institutional communications.
- Ensure all visual and written content aligns with Straz Center brand standards.
- Collaborate with internal teams, creative partners, and vendors to produce marketing campaigns.
- Serve as the primary marketing liaison, coordinating cross-department initiatives and supporting media relations.
Marketing Analytics & Business Intelligence
- Drive measurable marketing outcomes aligned with enrollment, retention, audience growth, and revenue goals.
- Analyze data, campaign performance, and market trends to guide strategy and identify growth opportunities.
- Develop reports and insights that demonstrate marketing effectiveness and return on investment.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Manage external creative and marketing vendor relationships. Lead cross-functional teams supporting enrollment initiatives and institutional campaigns.
Education and Work Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing communication, Business, Arts administration or related field required.
- Minimum of seven years' experience of progressively responsible marketing leadership experience.
- Experience in higher education, independent schools, conservatories, non-profit arts organizations, museums, or cultural institutions strongly preferred.
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities):
- Demonstrated success developing strategic, results-driven marketing campaigns with expertise in enrollment, customer journeys, and relationship marketing.
- Strong skills in digital marketing, storytelling, communications, and using data analytics to inform strategy.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced educational environment with a passion for expanding access to high-quality performing arts experiences.
- Experience marketing performing arts education programs or educational institutions, including enrollment management, student recruitment, and brand communications preferred,
- Proficiency in CRM systems, digital marketing, audience segmentation, campaign analytics, and budget management also, preferred.
- Must be able to pass a Level 2 background check.
