Job Description:About the Role:We are seeking an enthusiastic, dedicated, and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a friendly and supportive primary school team. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who is passionate about helping children achieve their full potential and who can make a positive contribution to teaching and learning across the school.The successful candidate will work closely with teachers and school leaders to support high-quality learning experiences for pupils. They will be confident in leading whole-class learning, delivering targeted interventions, and supporting pupils with a range of abilities and needs.Key Responsibilities:Lead whole-class learning activities in the absence of a teacherPlan, prepare, and deliver learning activities under the direction of teaching staffSupport the academic, social, and emotional development of pupilsDeliver targeted intervention programmes to individuals and small groupsAssist in assessing, recording, and monitoring pupil progressSupport pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) where requiredPromote positive behaviour and maintain high expectations of all pupilsWork collaboratively with teachers, parents, and external agencies to support pupil achievementContribute to the wider life of the school communityThe Successful Candidate Will Have:HLTA status or equivalent relevant qualification and experienceExperience working within a primary school settingStrong literacy, numeracy, and communication skillsThe ability to motivate and inspire children to achieve their bestExcellent organisational and interpersonal skillsA commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of childrenA positive, flexible, and proactive approach to workWhy Join Teaching Tomorrow?Flexible supply work to build experience and confidenceOpportunities for long-term roles and potential permanent placementsExposure to a variety of school environments across BedfordshireOngoing support and guidance from a dedicated consultantTeaching Tomorrow is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
