Job Description:Higher Level Teaching AssistantSeptember StartFull-TimeBS49Here at Long-Term Teachers, we are looking for a Full-Time HLTA to work within a Primary School in North Somerset covering PPA from EYFS to Year 6, but to also work 1 to 1 with students.This school is a successful, well-regarded school who aim to provide an inclusive, caring and supportive environment which has high expectations and values all members of our school community.The RoleWe are seeking a motivated and experienced HLTA who can work on a Full–Time basis from September.The Head Teacher is looking for a candidate who can contribute to a wide range of teaching and learning activities, supporting the work of Teachers as a PPA cover teacher.You will be working closely with the Teachers to deliver pre-planned lessons, across all year groups.This role also includes supporting children on a 1 to 1 basis who need additional support with their learning.You will be expected to:Have a real passion for working with all Primary Aged children.Be able to engage children in their learning.Build strong, positive relationships with children, staff and parents.Thrive on challenging children’s abilities.Have previous teaching experience and a great knowledge of the Primary Curriculum.Have experience working with SEND children in the past.Working with Long-term Teachers:We are an independent agency working with Nurseries, Primary, Secondary and SpecialSchools.LTT was founded with the aim of creating a genuine, transparent and straightforwardservice to help candidates secure their next role.
