We’re looking for people to join the Access family, who share our passion for believing in better, and who will help us continue to grow.
Love Work. Love Life. Be You. - is central to our success and how we give our customers the freedom to do more of what's important to them.
What does Access offer you?
We offer a blended approach to office working, encouraging you to collaborate and connect in one of our thriving offices. We deliver on what we say, taking the development of our people seriously. We’ll work with you to progress your success plan and provide opportunities to accelerate your career.
Role Overview
The Paid Media Executive is an important entry point into the Digital Marketing team at Access Hospitality. You will work closely with our Paid Media, SEO, and Strategy specialists to build hands-on expertise across Google Ads, Paid Social on the Meta platform, Metasearch, Display, and campaign measurement, contributing directly to the performance of our hospitality customers.
Blending learning with delivery, you will help set up, optimise, and report on paid media campaigns across a portfolio of customers. As you grow, you will take on greater ownership, package best practice for the wider team, and act as a trusted support to the Ecommerce Managers who own overall customer revenue performance.
This is a role for a curious, commercially minded self-starter who wants to accelerate their career in performance marketing within a fast-paced hospitality digital team.
Key Goal of the Role
To drive good-quality, cost-efficient traffic through paid media channels that converts on the customer’s website and booking engine, maximising return on ad spend and direct bookings, while continuously building the expertise that grows both you and the team.
Culture & Values
- Support the delivery of paid media best practice across your customer portfolio, the Customer Success team, and the wider business.
- Champion a culture of continuous improvement, looking for ways to drive efficiencies and improve campaign performance across the team.
- Be a trusted, dependable support to the Ecommerce Managers and the wider Digital Marketing team.
- Build open, positive relationships with the Digital Operations, Customer Success, and Design teams.
- Adopt agility as a core approach. Test quickly, learn continuously, and develop your paid media knowledge and role.
- Communicate openly and frequently with all levels of the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
Campaign Management & Optimisation
- Support the Paid Media team in setting up, managing, and optimising campaigns across Google Ads (Search, Display, PMax), Meta (Facebook & Instagram), and Metasearch.
- Assist with day-to-day account tasks including keyword management, bid adjustments, ad copy updates, audience targeting, and budget pacing.
- Support website go-live projects, ensuring tracking, tagging, and paid campaigns are correctly configured at launch.
- Help maintain a core set of customer accounts, staying close to the changing needs of our customers and their questions.
- Ensure paid activity drives good-quality traffic that converts, not just clicks, with a constant focus on ROAS and cost per acquisition.
Performance, Measurement & Reporting
- Monitor campaign performance using Google Analytics (GA4), Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, and Looker Studio.
- Measure the impact of your work through continuous testing. A genuine curiosity to understand the results you drive should be a priority.
- Support the production of clear, actionable performance reports for customers and the Ecommerce Managers.
- Flag underperforming campaigns early and propose optimisations to improve efficiency and return.
Learning, Insight & Best Practice
- Research paid media and digital marketing continuously, with guidance from senior team members, and share findings with the wider team.
- Monitor market trends, platform updates, and algorithm changes across paid channels, identifying what is happening, what the impact is, and what should be adopted as best practice.
- Package strategies and data into easy-to-consume content for the Customer Success team and wider business.
- Feed learnings and improvement ideas back into the Digital Adoption Framework and to the wider Digital team.
Team & Customer Support
- Work closely with the Digital Operations team on day-to-day paid media tasks.
- Support the Ecommerce Managers in delivering the revenue performance of their digital customers.
- Educate and support the Customer Success team on paid media adoption and best practice.
- Maintain and evolve training resources including video guides, how-to documentation, and drop-in clinics.
- Contribute to blogs, articles, and case studies in collaboration with the Marketing team.
Meetings & Engagement
- Join monthly calls and attend on-site meetings where necessary for your customers, prospects, or partners.
- Attend calls and QBR meetings with Google, Meta, and other key digital vendors as required.
- Support colleagues on calls or on-site meetings with customers, prospects, or partners when additional paid media input is required.
Essential Criteria
- Ambition to accelerate your own learning and development, and to help customers grow their online marketing and direct bookings.
- Customer-obsessed, always wants to help resolve issues, get stuck in, and create a great customer experience.
- Organised and dependable, capable of managing multiple tasks and working to tight deadlines with effective time management.
- Motivated self-starter, comfortable working independently and in a hybrid/remote setup.
- Very effective communicator across all levels, internal and external, with strong presentation skills.
- An understanding of the principles of marketing; a marketing degree or an interest in online/performance marketing is highly desirable.
- Competent in the use of Microsoft Office / Google Workspace and comfortable working with data.
