As an Intern within the Regional Coverage team, you'll gain valuable exposure to corporate banking, credit evaluation, and client relationship management across diverse industries and markets. How You Succeed
To excel in this role, you'll need to be curious, analytical, and eager to learn. You'll work closely with Relationship Managers and business stakeholders to analyse industry developments, assess corporate performance, and support client coverage activities. Your ability to interpret financial information, conduct meaningful research, and communicate insights effectively will be key to supporting business decisions and delivering value to clients.
What You Do
Your responsibilities will include:
- Corporate Banking Support: assist the team in supporting corporate lending and relationship management activities across a diverse portfolio of regional clients and industries
- Financial Analysis: analyse financial statements, business performance, and key financial metrics to support client reviews and credit assessments
- Industry Research: conduct research on industry developments, market trends, and macroeconomic factors affecting regional conglomerates and corporate clients
- Business Insights: prepare analyses and market intelligence to support business planning, client engagement, and strategic decision-making
- Presentation Development: assist in the preparation of client presentations, business proposals, portfolio reviews, and management materials
- Report Writing: support the preparation of research papers, industry updates, and internal reports for stakeholders
- Stakeholder Engagement: collaborate with internal stakeholders across business, credit, and product teams to support client-related initiatives and deliverables
- Ad-hoc Projects: provide support on business development activities, strategic initiatives, and other assignments as required
Who You Work With
Global Corporate Banking partners large corporates, regional champions, and multinational companies across a wide range of industries. Within the Regional Coverage team, you'll work alongside experienced bankers who manage relationships with some of the region's leading conglomerates, including clients from Indonesia and other key markets. You'll gain valuable insights into corporate lending, industry coverage, client relationship management, and the role banks play in supporting business growth across Asia.
