As an Operations Support & Systems Intern, you'll gain valuable exposure to banking systems, project implementation, and operational support processes. What You Do
Your responsibilities will include:
- Core Banking System Projects: support the development, testing, and implementation of enhancements to core banking systems used by OCBC's international branches
- Project Coordination: assist in project planning, requirement gathering, progress tracking, documentation, and stakeholder communications throughout the project lifecycle
- User Testing Support: participate in system testing activities, including test preparation, execution, issue tracking, and validation of enhancement outcomes
- Operational Support: assist in process reviews and optimisation initiatives to improve operational efficiency and support smooth day-to-day business activities
- Systems Administration: support the System Owner in monitoring, maintaining, and enhancing Global Wholesale Banking systems and applications
- Stakeholder Engagement: collaborate with business users, technology teams, and operational stakeholders to support project delivery and system-related activities
- Reporting & Documentation: assist in the preparation of project updates, operational reports, user guides, and process documentation
- Ad-hoc Projects: provide support on other business, technology, and operational improvement initiatives as assigned
Who You Work With
Operations Support & Systems plays a key role in ensuring the smooth operation, maintenance, and enhancement of systems supporting Global Wholesale Banking. You'll work alongside business users, technology specialists, project teams, and operational stakeholders to deliver system improvements and support business-critical processes. Through this role, you'll gain valuable exposure to the intersection of banking operations, technology, and project management within a dynamic international banking environment.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Familiarity with project lifecycle methodologies and project delivery processes
- Knowledge of JIRA, Confluence, or similar project management tools would be advantageous
- Experience working with multiple stakeholders across functions would be beneficial
- Currently pursuing an undergraduate or postgraduate degree
