Role summary:The (USA) Journeyman Electrician, Facility Services, is responsible for performing preventive maintenance, inspections, and repairs to ensure the safety and functionality of facilities and equipment. This role requires diagnosing issues, managing work orders, and coordinating with contractors while adhering to regulatory standards and company policies. The position demands proficiency in multiple craft skills, timely response to emergencies, and maintaining accurate documentation. What you'll do:
- Perform routine preventive maintenance and repairs on facilities, equipment, and fixtures following established schedules and safety guidelines.
- Inspect, diagnose, and document issues using blueprints, manuals, and tools to ensure proper functionality and safety.
- Manage work orders, maintenance schedules, and contractor activities, including ordering parts and tracking expenses.
- Respond promptly to emergency calls and participate in on-call rotations to support critical business needs.
- Operate and maintain vehicles and powered equipment safely, conducting pre- and post-operation inspections.
- Collaborate with teams to improve processes, ensure compliance with regulations, and maintain a safe work environment.
What you'll bring:
- Proven experience performing preventive maintenance and repairs on electrical systems and related facility equipment.
- Ability to diagnose issues using blueprints, repair manuals, and parts catalogs.
- Skilled in operating hand and power tools, hoists, and material handling equipment safely and effectively.
- Knowledge of OSHA and EPA regulations to ensure compliance and maintain a safe work environment.
- Strong documentation skills for maintenance activities, work orders, and expense tracking.
- Capability to respond promptly to emergency calls and participate in on-call rotations.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with managers, coworkers, and contractors.

The hourly wage range for this position is $33.00 - $63.00* *The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.

Minimum Qualifications...

2 years’ experience in the electrical trade.Licensed Journeyman Electrician or equivalent in state of work.
