Role summary:The (USA) Journeyman Electrician, Facility Services, is responsible for performing routine preventive maintenance and repairs to ensure the safety, functionality, and appearance of facilities and equipment. This role involves diagnosing electrical issues, conducting inspections, and executing repairs using multiple craft skills. The position requires adherence to safety regulations and company standards while managing work orders, coordinating with contractors, and maintaining accurate documentation. The Journeyman Electrician supports emergency response efforts and participates in on-call rotations to address critical facility needs beyond standard hours.

What you'll do:
- Perform routine preventive maintenance and repairs on electrical systems, facilities, and equipment following established schedules and safety guidelines.
- Inspect, diagnose, and troubleshoot electrical issues using blueprints, manuals, and appropriate tools.
- Document maintenance activities, repair needs, and capital expense information accurately.
- Respond promptly to emergency calls and support issue resolution or escalation as required.
- Manage work orders, maintenance schedules, and coordinate with contractors to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
- Operate and maintain vehicles and powered equipment safely, conducting pre- and post-operation inspections.
- Collaborate with team members to meet business priorities and continuous improvement goals.
What you'll bring:
- Proven experience performing preventive maintenance and repairs on electrical systems and related facility equipment.
- Ability to diagnose issues using blueprints, repair manuals, and parts catalogs.
- Skilled in operating hand and power tools, hoists, and material handling equipment safely and effectively.
- Knowledge of OSHA and EPA regulations to ensure compliance and maintain a safe work environment.
- Strong documentation skills for maintenance activities, work orders, and expense tracking.
- Capability to respond promptly to emergency calls and participate in on-call rotations.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with management, contractors, and coworkers.

The hourly wage range for this position is $40.00 - $76.00* *The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.

Minimum Qualifications...

2 years’ experience in the electrical trade.Licensed Journeyman Electrician or equivalent in state of work.
Valid state-issued driver’s license.
