Role summary:The (USA) Journeyman Electrician, Facility Services, is responsible for performing preventive maintenance, inspections, and repairs to ensure the safety and functionality of facilities and equipment. This role requires diagnosing issues, managing work orders, coordinating with contractors, and adhering to regulatory standards. The position demands proficiency in multiple craft skills, timely response to emergencies, and maintaining accurate documentation. The Journeyman Electrician supports operational excellence by promoting safety, compliance, and quality workmanship while collaborating effectively with management and team members to meet business needs and maintain facility integrity.

What you'll do:
- Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure safety and proper functionality of facilities, equipment, and fixtures.
- Inspect, clean, and repair electrical systems and related components following established schedules and guidelines.
- Diagnose issues using blueprints, manuals, and tools; dismantle and replace defective parts as needed.
- Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests and document all repair activities accurately.
- Manage work orders, maintenance logs, and coordinate with contractors to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
- Operate and maintain vehicles and powered equipment safely, conducting pre- and post-operation inspections.
- Support continuous improvement by identifying repair needs and recommending replacements to prevent future issues.
What you'll bring:
- Proven experience performing preventive maintenance and repairs on facilities, equipment, and fixtures using multiple craft skills, including electrical work.
- Ability to diagnose issues using blueprints, repair manuals, and parts catalogs.
- Proficiency with hand and power tools, hoists, and material handling equipment.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA and EPA regulations to ensure compliance and safety.
- Experience managing work orders, maintenance schedules, and coordinating with contractors.
- Capability to respond promptly to emergency calls and participate in on-call rotations.
- Effective communication skills for collaboration with managers, coworkers, and business partners.

The hourly wage range for this position is $40.00 - $76.00* *The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.

Minimum Qualifications...

2 years’ experience in the electrical trade.Licensed Journeyman Electrician or equivalent in state of work.
