Job Title: Accounts Senior
Salary: Up to £40,000 (DOE)
Location: Northampton
Working Pattern: Flexible hours (Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM)
A well-established and growing accountancy practice in Northampton is looking for a talented Accounts Senior to join their friendly and supportive team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, values flexibility, and wants genuine progression within a modern firm.
You’ll work with a diverse portfolio of clients across multiple industries, gaining exposure to both accounting and tax, while also contributing to advisory work that makes a real impact.
What you’ll be doing

Preparing year-end financial statements for limited companies and unincorporated businesses

Completing corporation tax and personal tax computations

Assisting with management accounts and delivering meaningful financial insights

Supporting advisory projects and helping clients make informed decisions

Managing a varied client portfolio and building strong client relationships

Ensuring compliance with current accounting and tax regulations
What we’re looking for

ACA / ACCA qualified, part-qualified, or qualified by experience

Previous experience within an accountancy practice is essential

Strong technical knowledge in accounts preparation and tax

Ability to manage multiple deadlines and prioritise workload effectively

A proactive, team-oriented mindset with strong communication skills
