Job Title: Accounts Senior
Salary: Up to £40,000 (DOE)
Location: Northampton
Working Pattern: Flexible hours (Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM)

A well-established and growing accountancy practice in Northampton is looking for a talented Accounts Senior to join their friendly and supportive team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, values flexibility, and wants genuine progression within a modern firm.

You’ll work with a diverse portfolio of clients across multiple industries, gaining exposure to both accounting and tax, while also contributing to advisory work that makes a real impact.

What you’ll be doing

• Preparing year-end financial statements for limited companies and unincorporated businesses

• Completing corporation tax and personal tax computations

• Assisting with management accounts and delivering meaningful financial insights

• Supporting advisory projects and helping clients make informed decisions

• Managing a varied client portfolio and building strong client relationships

• Ensuring compliance with current accounting and tax regulations

What we’re looking for

• ACA / ACCA qualified, part-qualified, or qualified by experience

• Previous experience within an accountancy practice is essential

• Strong technical knowledge in accounts preparation and tax

• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and prioritise workload effectively

• A proactive, team-oriented mindset with strong communication skills
