Role: Account Senior
Location: Sheffield
Salary: Up to £45,000 (DOE)
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established and growing accountancy practice in Sheffield, supporting a strong portfolio of SME and owner-managed businesses.
The role has been created due to continued growth and new client wins, making this a genuine opportunity to join the business at an exciting point in its development. You’ll work closely with experienced Managers and Partners, with the opportunity to develop your own client portfolio and progress your career over the longer term.

Responsibilities of the Account Senior job include:
• Preparing year-end statutory accounts for a varied portfolio of clients
• Preparing management accounts
• Preparing corporation tax and general tax work
• Managing your own workload and taking responsibility for client delivery
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships
• Working closely with Managers and Partners across the practice
• Supporting a varied portfolio of SME and owner-managed businesses
• Progressing towards taking ownership of your own client portfolio
• Supporting the wider team with accounts and tax work
Requirements of the Account Senior job include:
• Previous experience working within a UK accountancy practice
• Strong general practice accounts and tax experience
• Experience working with SME and owner-managed clients
• Currently operating at Account Senior or similar level
