As a German Customer Service Travel Advisor, you will serve as the primary liaison for international travelers, providing exceptional assistance across telephone, web chat, and email channels. Within this role, you will oversee reservations, flight modifications, and cancellations while proactively handling issues to guarantee flawless journeys for patrons. Key Responsibilities
- Customer Experience: Deliver top-notch support via every interaction channel, assuming total ownership of customer questions from beginning to end.
- Issue Resolution: Utilize attentive listening concerning patron grievances, de-escalate challenging scenarios with poise, and present creative, practical solutions.
- Account & Booking Management: Verify and modify client profile details while precisely handling flight and holiday itinerary adjustments.
- Clear Communication: Translate complex travel regulations and procedures into clear, easily understandable terms in both German and English.
- Operational Excellence: Maintain elevated benchmarks of productivity, accuracy, and speed when managing intricate requests and back-office duties.
Requirements
- Education: Minimum Grade 12 / Matric diploma.
- Language Proficiency: Complete fluency in written and verbal German and English.
- Experience: At least 12 months within an international contact center environment, OR past background in airline reservation systems or a travel agency environment.
- Background Check: Unblemished criminal history paired with a pristine credit standing.
- Skills: Excellent attentive listening talents, dispute resolution, task prioritization, and the ability to stay composed under pressure.
Working Hours & Location
- Work Arrangement: 100% on-site.
- Location: 19 Hertzog Boulevard, Cape Town.
- Schedule: 5 days per week, 8 hours daily (40 hours weekly).
- Working Hours: Flexible shifts operating from 09:00 AM through 02:00 AM SAST.
- Shift Pattern: Monday through Sunday (Rotational schedule).
Remuneration & Benefits
- Base Salary: R 20,000.00 per month.
- Night Shift Allowance: Granted for any service hours occurring after 7:00 PM.
- Transport Subsidy: Partially subsidized one-way commute alternative provided (Employer funds the subsidy; worker copay is R315).
