Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour
Job Schedule:
DayTimeFri10:00 PM - 06:00 AMSat10:00 PM - 06:00 AMWhat You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or contractors while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a healthcare location.
- Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and requesting additional assistance as needed.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, parking areas, access points, and the surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
- Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as required, and report unusual activity, hazards, or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
- Complete required incident reports, patrol logs, and other documentation accurately and in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific procedures.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have at least 5 years of security-related experience.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
