Service Support Coordinator / Shuttle Driver

Description

 Midway Motors Auto Group is looking for a dependable, professional, and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Service Support Coordinator / Shuttle Driver. The primary responsibility of this position is to provide safe, reliable, and courteous transportation for our service customers and staff. This position will also assist with dealership errands, maintaining the shuttle vehicle, and providing general support to the service department as needed. The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys working with people, takes pride in providing excellent customer service, and can stay organized while handling a variety of tasks throughout the day.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport service customers and staff to and from designated locations
• Provide friendly, professional, and courteous customer service during all shuttle trips
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-presented shuttle vehicle
• Complete daily bank runs, mail runs, and other dealership errands
• Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company driving policies
• Assist customers with getting in and out of the shuttle as needed
• Communicate effectively with the service team regarding customer transportation needs
• Help coordinate customer pickups and drop-offs
• Assist with light cleaning and custodial duties as needed
• Greet and assist service customers when needed
• Answer phones and direct customers to the appropriate team member
• Assist with cashier transactions and other basic service department duties as needed
• Help keep customer and service areas clean and organized
• Provide general support to the service department during slower periods or as needed
• Other duties as assigned

• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Safe and responsible driving habits
• Excellent customer service and communication skills

• Dependable and punctual
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
• Comfortable working with customers of all types
• Ability to maintain a clean and professional appearance
• Ability to perform light cleaning and custodial duties
• Basic computer skills
• Previous customer service, driving, or automotive experience is preferred but not required
