Employee Benefits Account Manager
Job Summary
Seeking a dedicated and experienced Employee Benefits Account Manager to join a established and growing agency. This role is integral to supporting a Senior Account Manager and Producer in managing group benefit clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in employee benefits, excellent organizational skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional client service.
Compensation Package
- Salary Range: $50,000 - $70,000 annually

Responsibilities
- Run quotes and prepare benefit and cost comparisons for clients.
- Manage and maintain client databases with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Process eligibility changes online with insurance carriers.
- Prepare open enrollment kits for employee meetings.
- Address day-to-day service issues, including billing, eligibility, and claim resolution.
- Assist in quoting new and renewal business.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Experience: 3-7 years of experience in employee benefits account management, preferably within an independent agency.
- Education: College degree or equivalent experience in an independent agency setting.
- Licensure: Life and Health (L&H) license preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in EPIC software is a plus.
- Knowledge: Experience with fully insured or self-funded accounts is preferred but not required.
- Client Portfolio: Ability to manage a book of business, including 25 clients and 50 policies, handling all aspects from A to Z.
