What you'll do:
- Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure safety, functionality, and appearance of facilities, equipment, and fixtures.
- Inspect, clean, and repair facility components while documenting wear, repair needs, and replacement requirements.
- Manage work orders, maintenance schedules, and contractor coordination, ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards.
- Operate and maintain heavy machinery and powered equipment following safety procedures and certification requirements.
- Order parts, track inventory, and submit warranty claims and maintenance invoices accurately.
- Identify hazards or equipment malfunctions and take corrective action or escalate as necessary.
- Collaborate with teams to improve processes and meet business priorities effectively.
What you'll bring:
- Proven experience in facility maintenance, including plumbing and electrical systems.
- Strong troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve equipment and facility issues efficiently.
- Ability to perform routine preventive maintenance following established schedules and safety guidelines.
- Proficiency in operating and inspecting heavy machinery and powered equipment safely.
- Knowledge of compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other regulatory standards.
- Effective documentation skills for maintenance activities, work orders, and expense tracking.
- Capability to coordinate with contractors and manage maintenance schedules to ensure quality outcomes.

The hourly wage range for this position is $26.00 - $51.00* *The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.

Minimum Qualifications...

Vocational or technical certification and 2 years' experience in plumbing, electrical, material handling equipment, or related area.Option 2: 4 years' experience in plumbing, electrical, material handling equipment, or related area.
Valid state-issued driver’s license and ability to pass a motor vehicle report.
Commercial driving record with no convictions for DUI, DWI, OUI within the last five (5) years.
Commercial driving record with no more than two (2) moving violations in the last three (3) years.
No preventable accidents while operating a commercial motor vehicle in the last three (3) years.
No serious traffic violations, as defined by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations, while operating a commercial motor vehicle in the last three (3) years.
