Air Liquide is Hiring for a Project Engineer in Morrisville, PA!

We are looking for you !

• Pay: $100,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year

Plan, design, and construct small to medium sized Electronics Specialty Gas projects at the Morrisville Specialty Gas Plant. Lead project design, and design reviews for assigned scope. Participate in process risk assessments then construct the project. Champion project scope changes from development through approval and implementation. Track project progress to plan and communicate project status and performance to Stakeholders. Supervise construction contractors for progress and safety performance throughout the construction interval. Proactively develop opportunities to improve project design and delivery.

Job Description

• Build project proposals to obtain project funding.
• Prepare project design basis documents, budgets, schedules, and risk management plans to drive successful project implementation.
• Research national codes and Air Liquide standards to include critical project requirements.
• Develop Scope Documents for 3rd party engineering firms to bid external design activities. 
• Manage 3rd party design progress to fulfill the project design schedule. 
• Collaborate with operations and peers to create process designs for integration into existing operations.
• Create and modify detailed P&IDs, BOMs, equipment spec sheets, layouts, and control strategy documents.
• Develop process models, specifications, data sheets and test plans for the process.
• Schedule and conduct staged Design Reviews and represent the project design during Risk Assessments, and quality & reliability reviews.
• Ensure completion of all project construction and testing deliverables then safely transition projects to the Facility Manager for commissioning and operation.
• Champion, plan, and implement customer change orders and project scope changes.
• Conduct a Lessons Learned event at the project’s end to improve project delivery.

Required Qualifications

• BS Engineering Degree or equivalent work experience
• 1-2 Years Relevant Work Experience

• Demonstrated Safety Focus and Safety Leadership.
• Good Communication and Interpersonal Skills.
• Demonstrated Team Leadership Ability.
• Experience With Electronic Specialty Gas (ESG), Carrier Gas (CG)
• PMI Project Management Professional (PMI-PMP) Certification
