Financial Manager – KSA

We are seeking an experienced Financial Manager for our client, a reputable E- tobacco company that is part of a global group of companies   Department: Finance Location: KSA Reports To: Finance Director   Job Summary: The Finance Manager will lead all finance, accounting, taxation, treasury, reporting, compliance, and business partnering activities for KSA. The role is responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, safeguarding company assets, optimizing working capital, maintaining compliance with KSA regulatory requirements, and supporting commercial growth through financial insights and controls. The Finance Manager will act as a strategic business partner to country management while ensuring adherence to Group policies, IFRS requirements, ZATCA regulations, VAT, customs, excise, and corporate tax obligations.   Key Responsibilities Financial Reporting & Accounting

• Manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close process.
• Prepare accurate IFRS-compliant financial statements and management reports.
• Ensure completeness and accuracy of general ledger accounting.
• Review and approve journal entries, reconciliations, and accounting adjustments.
• Coordinate external audits and statutory reporting requirements.
• Ensure compliance with Group accounting policies and reporting deadlines.

Budgeting, Planning & Analysis (FP&A)

• Lead annual budgeting and rolling forecast processes.
• Prepare monthly management accounts with variance analysis.
• Monitor profitability by customer, product, channel, and territory.
• Develop financial models to support strategic decision-making.
• Present financial performance reviews to management and Group Finance.
• Recommend actions to improve margins and operating efficiencies.

Treasury & Working Capital Management

• Manage cash flow forecasting and liquidity planning.
• Monitor and optimize working capital performance including:
  • Accounts receivable
  • Inventory
  • Accounts payable
• Manage banking relationships and financing facilities.
• Review customer credit limits and collection performance.
• Drive DSO, DIO, and DPO improvement initiatives.

Tax, ZATCA & Regulatory Compliance

• Ensure compliance with all KSA tax regulations.
• Manage:
  • VAT filings
  • Corporate Income Tax
  • Withholding Tax
  • Excise Tax
  • Customs-related financial requirements
• Interface with ZATCA during audits and reviews.
• Monitor regulatory developments and advise management on business impact.

Commercial Finance Business Partnering

• Support sales and operations teams with pricing and profitability analysis.
• Evaluate new business opportunities, tenders, and investments.
• Review customer rebates, promotional activities, and trade agreements.
• Provide financial support for distributor and key account negotiations.
• Participate in strategic planning and market expansion initiatives.

Inventory, Supply Chain & Cost Control

• Monitor inventory valuation and provisioning.
• Ensure proper accounting for imports, customs duties, excise taxes, and freight costs.
• Lead inventory reconciliation and stock count processes.
• Analyze inventory turnover and slow-moving products.
• Partner with operations and supply chain teams to improve inventory efficiency.

Internal Controls & Risk Management

• Maintain robust internal controls and governance processes.
• Ensure segregation of duties and financial discipline.
• Identify and mitigate financial and operational risks.
• Support implementation of ERP and finance transformation initiatives.
• Establish policies and procedures aligned with Group standards.

Team Leadership

• Lead and develop the KSA finance team.
• Set departmental objectives and KPIs.
• Coach and mentor finance staff.
• Foster a performance-driven and compliance-oriented culture.

  Qualifications Education

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• Professional qualification preferred:
  • CPA
  • ACCA
  • CA
  • CMA

  Experience

• 8–12 years of progressive finance experience.
• Minimum 3–5 years in a Finance Manager role.
• Experience in:

• Strong exposure to KSA tax and regulatory requirements.
