About Our Family
We're a warm, close-knit, and growing family based in West Los Angeles—two busy working parents, a spirited toddler who keeps us smiling and on our toes, and another little one on the way! Our household is active, welcoming, and down-to-earth; we genuinely value and respect the people who join our home. We’d describe ourselves as laid-back, easygoing, and low-drama, but we also hold high standards and care deeply about the care brought into our space. We aren't micromanagers, but we have a keen eye for details and truly appreciate someone who takes that same pride in their work.
Our work lives are a mix of routines—Dad works in the office five days a week, while Mom works from home twice a week. Our toddler is transitioning into preschool this fall, and with our family expanding, this exciting new chapter brings a real need for proactive, reliable household support so we can show up fully in our work and family life. Rounding out our family is a fun, highly energetic terrier-shepherd mix who is full of personality, very affectionate, and definitely on the active, jumpy side!
This is a role for someone who wants to be a genuine partner in keeping a household running effortlessly and will take real ownership of that responsibility. We are looking for a true professional in a private household setting—someone who shows up, respects healthy boundaries, and operates with standard excellence.
Who You Are / What We're Looking For
We are looking for someone who balances proactive initiative with a warm, kind, and creative spirit. Proactivity is essential here—we love working with someone who notices the details, brings fresh ideas to keep the home running smoothly, and communicates openly and naturally. You don't wait to be told what to do; you notice, act, and follow through.
Equal to that proactivity is your presence in our home. You bring a calming, grounding energy when working independently, helping the household feel relaxed and effortlessly organized. At the same time, you bring playful energy, warmth, and creativity when engaging with our daughter. You’re the kind of person who can effortlessly pivot between creating a peaceful environment and diving into fun, imaginative play.
You're the kind of person who walks into a room and immediately notices what needs attention—not because someone told you to look, but because that's simply how you're wired. Organization comes naturally, and you take pride in seeing things through from start to finish. Anticipating needs before they become problems is second nature, and you're comfortable communicating proactively, whether it's letting the family know supplies are running low or discussing a household decision before moving forward. You work independently with confidence while keeping the family informed along the way.
The ideal candidate is warm and playful when engaging with our toddler, and calm and professional when supporting the household. You're present — not distracted or on your phone. You respect everyone's time, including your own. You're comfortable with dogs, and you bring a level of organization and attention to detail that makes the home feel effortlessly well-managed. You're trustworthy with children and take that responsibility seriously. Above all, you do good work because it matters to you.
