About Our Family
We are a fun-loving, active family with three school-age children. Our home is warm but kid-centered — filled with the flow of their school calendars, activities, and sports. We also have two senior French Bulldogs who are starting to require a little extra attention. As two working parents, we’re realizing we could really use another set of hands!
We recently moved into our current home and have put real effort into building organizational systems that work for us. Now we need someone to help us maintain them and fill in the gaps. We love our space and want it to feel calm, clean, and running smoothly. We’re focused on finding support for the day-to-day: the childcare, the tidying, the laundry, the meal prep, and the steady, proactive support that keeps everything from falling through the cracks.
More than anything, we’re looking for someone who can become a natural extension of our family and our village. We value kindness, flexibility, open communication, and someone who genuinely enjoys making a busy household feel a little calmer and easier. What matters most to us is finding someone who is detail-oriented, kind, and a real self-starter.
Who You Are / What We're Looking For
You sincerely love interacting with children and find fulfillment in being a positive role model for them. You’re playful and creative, but also nurturing and warm. You can jump into an afternoon with the kids just as comfortably as you can prep ingredients for dinner, tackle a pile of returns, change sheets, or reset the drop zone at the bottom of the stairs.
You’re detail-oriented, proactive, flexible, and hands-on. You notice what needs attention and take care of it — or flag it before it becomes a bigger issue. You’re happy to work within the systems we already have while also suggesting better solutions when you see an opportunity.
You communicate directly, respect our family's rhythms, and feel equally at ease spending time with the kids, prepping vegetables for dinner, and coordinating a dry-cleaning pickup. You take pride in your work, you care about the people you support, and you approach household management as a real profession. For you, no task is too big or too small.
Wednesday and Thursday afternoon school pickups are the main consistent scheduling need. Beyond that, we’re happy to build a schedule that works well for everyone, with occasional opportunities for date nights, special events, or additional family support.
