Job Description
As a Security Guard Unarmed Patrol Driver in Clifton Hill, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy. - Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility, including offices, common areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter, while reporting unusual conditions or security-related concerns.
- Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorized entry as directed by site policies, and maintain accurate security-related logs and incident reports.
- Help to deter unauthorized activity, property damage, and policy violations through a visible presence, professional communication, and timely escalation to appropriate personnel.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess at least one year of security-related experience.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Experience with handcuffs, pepper spray, and batons is preferred.
- Handcuffing certification is preferred.
- Pepper spray certification is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
