As an Accountant, you will play an important role in ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant financial operations across accounting, taxation, treasury, and statutory reporting. You will bring together financial expertise, analytical thinking, and strong collaboration to support reliable reporting and informed business decisions.
Your work will connect Finance, Tax, Treasury, Shared Services, and business teams, helping stakeholders navigate financial information with clarity and confidence. You will also have the opportunity to contribute to process improvements, strengthen financial controls, and support projects that make our ways of working more efficient and effective.
What You'll Do
Coordinate month-end and year-end closing activities, ensuring accurate journal entries, adjustments, reconciliations, financial reviews, and timely Income Statement and Balance Sheet reporting.
Support statutory financial reporting and audit activities by preparing financial statements, documentation, reconciliations, and thoughtful analysis of differences between US GAAP and Local GAAP requirements.
Support tax and VAT compliance activities, ensuring accurate VAT processes, tax documentation, reconciliations, filings, and supporting materials in line with local legislation and internal requirements.
Strengthen internal controls and compliance by supporting SOX and RACM requirements, maintaining clear and up-to-date process documentation, identifying opportunities for improvement, and partnering with colleagues during internal and external audits.
Oversee a range of accounting and operational finance activities, including Accounts Payable, supplier reconciliations, customer claims, customs payments, employee-related costs, lease and royalty accounting, and assigned General Ledger activities.
Support treasury and banking activities by monitoring payments and incoming funds, processing and reconciling bank statements and accounts, maintaining SAP exchange rates, supporting foreign currency transactions, and contributing to cash flow and treasury reporting.
Build trusted partnerships and contribute to continuous improvement by working collaboratively with Finance, Treasury, Tax, Controlling, Shared Services, and business teams, sharing knowledge and best practices, and supporting finance projects, automation, and system improvements.
What We're Looking For
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field; a professional accounting qualification is an advantage.
5+ years of experience in accounting, financial reporting, tax, treasury, or a related finance role, ideally within an international or multinational environment, with hands-on experience using SAP
English upper-intermediate or higher level, with confident communication and relationship-building skills, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to build trust and work effectively with colleagues and stakeholders across different functions.
Strong knowledge of month-end and year-end closing, financial reporting, account reconciliations, and statutory accounting, with an understanding of US GAAP and Local GAAP principles.
Experience supporting VAT and tax compliance, including tax documentation, reconciliations, filings, and audit-related activities.
Good understanding of internal controls and SOX requirements, with the ability to maintain clear documentation, identify potential risks, and contribute to continuous improvement.
Strong analytical and organizational skills, with a thoughtful and detail-oriented approach and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines while maintaining accuracy.
We welcome applicants from a wide range of backgrounds and experiences. Even if you don't meet every listed qualification, we encourage you to apply.
