General accountant - Junior

Shape Our Financial Future: Join our dynamic accounting team as an Accounting Generalist and play a key role in maintaining the financial health of our growing organization. You'll be instrumental in ensuring the accuracy of our ledger accounts and the integrity of our financial statements. This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of preparing, recording, analyzing, and reporting accounting transactions, providing you with a broad understanding of our financial operations and excellent potential for professional development within our lively and engaging office environment.

What you’ll do

• Prepare and post journal entries, including amortizations, prepaids, accruals, and intercompany transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Perform regular reconciliations of all balance sheet accounts, investigating and resolving discrepancies promptly.
• Execute month-end close activities efficiently and accurately, maintaining proper financial records in accordance with deadlines.
• Assist in maintaining and enforcing internal accounting controls and facilitating adherence to GAAP and company policies.
• Evaluate existing accounting processes and controls to identify areas for improvement, recommending and implementing effective solutions.
• Prepare and analyze monthly financial reports and invoices, providing insightful information.

What experience you need 

• English B2 level proficiency.
• Microsoft Excel proficiency (70% score)    
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or actively pursuing such a degree with a minimum of 2-3 years of completed coursework or 1-2 years of Accounting experience.
