Job Description

As a Security Officer Armed - Full Time in Bennettsville, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a food and beverage location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor assigned areas, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will support access control, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, and respond to security-related concerns with integrity. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies at a food and beverage production location.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, parking areas, loading docks, production areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain accurate entries in required logs and reports.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and coordinating with emergency responders when appropriate.
• Carry assigned equipment in accordance with applicable laws, licensing requirements, Allied Universal policies, and site-specific procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
