The role involves working closely with stakeholders to define and deliver backend solutions, particularly APIs, within a highly regulated financial environment. Key ResponsibilitiesGather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements for payments-related systemsDefine requirements for backend products and APIsCollaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, architects, and stakeholdersEnsure compliance with regulatory frameworks and ISO standardsSupport integration with interbank payment systems, including ElixirCreate process flows and documentation using BPMN/Visio or similar toolsPerform data analysis and validation using basic SQL Required Skills & Experience5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in the payments domainStrong knowledge of payment systems and processesExperience working with backend systems and API requirementsUnderstanding of ACH and SWIFTKnowledge of regulatory and ISO standards in paymentsHands-on experience with SQL (basic level)Proficiency in MS Excel and Visio / BPMN tools Preferred QualificationsFamiliarity with the Polish banking ecosystemPolish language skills (preferred, not mandatory but advantageous)Experience working with large financial institutions
