Team Overview

We’re seeking a resilient and proactive Payroll Specialist to join our multicultural LATAM Payroll Team. This role is critical in ensuring accurate, compliant, and efficient payroll operations across multiple countries while fostering collaboration across regions. Beyond technical expertise, we value ownership, adaptability, and teamwork in a fast-paced, cross-border environment.

Role Responsibilities

·  Manage end-to-end payroll operations for Brazil and SSL countries.

·  Work collaboratively alongside a team of experienced payroll specialists and report directly to the Regional Payroll Manager.

·  Ensure 100% accuracy and strict compliance with local statutory legislation and internal controls.

·  Reconcile payroll data with accounting records and resolve discrepancies promptly.

·  Oversee the timely processing and payment of social security, taxes, and statutory deductions.

·  Maintain continuous, collaborative workflows with the regional IBG Chinese team, local vendors, and internal cross-functional departments (HR, Accounting, Finance).

·  Address internal and external payroll inquiries and deliver required reports within established deadlines.

·  Identify process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and scalability.

·  Remain adaptable and prepared to manage additional ad-hoc payroll duties and operational requirements as needed.

Role Qualifications

Must-Have

·       7+ years of hands-on payroll experience in Brazil, expertise in SSL countries is a plus;

·       In-depth knowledge of local labor laws, tax regulations, and social security requirements;

·       Fluent in Portuguese and English; Spanish proficiency is a strong plus;

·       Strong analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail;

·       Proven ability to manage cross-country payroll operations and third-party providers.

Nice-to-Have

·       Background in Business, Accounting, or Finance;

·       Familiarity with HR processes and policies.
