What you'll do...
Role summary:As a Senior Software Engineer in Information Security, you will lead the design, development, and maintenance of advanced enterprise security solutions. This role involves analyzing business requirements, troubleshooting complex issues, and implementing secure software and hardware changes in alignment with established processes. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure system reliability, scalability, and compliance while driving continuous improvement initiatives. Your expertise will support critical security services, facilitate stakeholder engagement, and contribute to the overall protection of Walmart’s technology infrastructure through innovative and effective security practices.
About the team:
The OneLab Development and Engineering team within Walmart Global Tech’s Information Security Division develops secure, reliable software systems supporting the ANAB-accredited eDiscovery and Forensics Lab. The team partners with business units to identify, collect, and preserve electronically stored information for legal and investigative purposes. Emphasizing stakeholder engagement and continuous improvement throughout the software development life cycle, the team designs and maintains scalable, compliant solutions. Their work ensures operational excellence and trust among customers, associates, and stakeholders by delivering advanced security technologies aligned with business goals.
What you'll do:
- Provide advanced support for enterprise security services by troubleshooting, resolving issues, and maintaining code and configurations using version control.
- Analyze systems and business processes to design and implement effective security solutions aligned with business requirements.
- Lead technical design, development, testing, and debugging of security programs and scripts following established system development life cycles.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify needs, propose solutions, and ensure successful implementation and documentation of security measures.
- Monitor system performance, alerts, and reliability while continuously improving security infrastructure and processes.
- Communicate technical findings and updates clearly to customers, management, and technical teams.
What you'll bring:
- Extensive experience in information security, including cloud and infrastructure security principles.
- Proficiency with software development life cycle (SDLC) processes and version control systems.
- Strong skills in application security, debugging, automation, and continuous delivery practices.
- Ability to analyze business requirements and design effective security solutions.
- Experience troubleshooting complex technical issues and leading resolution efforts.
- Competence in stakeholder engagement and communicating technical information clearly.
- Knowledge of test tools and software maintenance to ensure system reliability and scalability.

The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00 - $180,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
