Manager, Accounting

We are looking for a Manager, Accounting to join our accounting team in Beijing. This is an amazing opportunity to work on accounting in MNC.

This role stablishes and maintains accounting policies and controls. Conducts financial close, reporting and accounting reconciliations, executes defined controls, and manages the financial reporting process, including the preparation of the external statutory reporting. Provides technical guidance on accounting concepts including compliance with accounting policies. 

The team consists of 10 people and is reporting to the Director of Accounting. We are expected to talk with you if you has strong relationship building with business finance, corporate functions, internal & external audit and within the shared service center community and is critical in ensuring that all revenue, costs, commitments, assets and liabilities are accurately recorded on a timely basis.

About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments  

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
• 7 Years of Relevant Experience 
• Strong computer proficiency (Excel) 
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and Internal Controls 
• Fluent English in writing and speaking

It would be great if you also had

• Master's degree or above
• Japanese capability is preferred

What will you be doing in this role? 

• Reviews and approves general ledger journal entries and account reconciliations to ensure integrity of financial data.  
• Researches, documents, and recommends treatment of complex accounting topics in accordance with GAAP.  
• Supports quarterly audit procedures, year-end audit, and tax requirements.  
• Ensures compliance with policies, internal controls and SOX controls, raising awareness and suggestions when deficiencies are noted.  
• Collaborates with FP&A and other various functions to continue to develop finance and accounting processes in order to drive faster monthly financial statement close and internal reporting processes. 
• Provides leadership and direction to other accounting staff.   

Hours of Work  

9am to 6pm CST from Monday to Friday
