Job Description & Summary

Our Internal Firm Services (IFS) team is the backbone of our operations. We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Accountant to join our internal finance team in Tashkent, supporting our business operations across a broad spectrum of accounting functions.

The Role

As an Accountant in our Internal Finance team, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial health of the firm. Depending on your profile and strengths, your scope may cover general ledger maintenance, statutory compliance, accounts payable/receivable, banking operations, or internal reporting.

This role offers a dynamic environment with exposure to both local statutory requirements and international corporate reporting standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day accounting transactions in accordance with local legislation and internal firm policies.
• Participate in month-end and year-end closing processes (reconciliations, accruals, journal entries).
• Handle core operational accounting processes (which may include AP/AR, vendor settlements, expense reports, or payroll support).
• Prepare statutory tax and financial reports for state authorities in compliance with Uzbekistan legislation.
• Support internal management reporting and analysis under IFRS / firm reporting standards.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure readiness for internal and external audits.
• Collaborate with various business units across the firm to resolve finance-related queries.

What We Are Looking For:

Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related fields.

Experience: 2–4 years of hands-on accounting experience (experience in international companies or professional services is an advantage).

Technical Skills:

• • Proficient user of 1C: Enterprise (mandatory).
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel.
  • Familiarity with national accounting standards (NAS) and local tax code; knowledge of IFRS is a plus.

Certifications: Progress toward ACCA, CAP/CIPA, or local auditor/accountant certification is welcomed.

Languages:

• • Russian — Fluent.
  • Uzbek — Fluent / Professional.
  • English — Intermediate (B1/B2) or higher (working with internal systems and global teams).

Soft Skills: Strong analytical mindset, high attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
