- Prepare, review, and analyze entity-level statutory and management financial statements.
- Support consolidated group reporting and manage intercompany accounting activities.
- Ensure accurate foreign currency accounting and multi-currency reporting.
- Partner with global finance teams and support consolidated financial statements.
Compliance, Controls & Governance
- Ensure compliance with Spanish statutory, tax, and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain and strengthen internal control frameworks including SOX-related controls where applicable.
- Coordinate relationships with auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory authorities.
- Monitor IFRS, Spanish GAAP, tax legislation, and corporate accounting policy changes.
Process Improvement & Systems
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across accounting processes and reporting quality.
- Support SAP S/4HANA optimization projects and broader finance systems enhancements.
- Promote best practices across Iberian (south Europe) and global finance teams.
Business Partnering & Collaboration
- Provide accounting expertise and financial guidance to stakeholders.
- Translate financial information into actionable business insights.
- Collaborate on strategic initiatives, integrations, and transformation projects.
- Support global finance initiatives, projects, and integration activities where required.
- Provide coaching or knowledge-sharing to regional teams as appropriate.
What You Bring
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related discipline.
- 8+ years of experience in accounting, financial reporting, audit, or finance operations.
- Strong IFRS knowledge and understanding of Spanish statutory accounting and audits.
- Experience in multinational environments and strong stakeholder management skills.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to communicate clearly with both financial and non-financial stakeholders.
- Proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with high integrity and a collaborative working style.
Preferred Qualifications
- Big Four background.
- US GAAP and SOX experience.
- CPA, ACCA, KHT, ACA or equivalent certification.
