Position Overview:
This role manages end-to-end execution of project-based procurement and supply chain activities. This role serves as the primary liaison between suppliers, logistics providers, cross-functional teams, and customers, providing proactive communication, resolving delivery challenges, and mitigating supply chain risks. The ideal candidate is a highly organized, customer-focused professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, drives supplier accountability, and delivers exceptional project execution to support business and customer success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Owns end-to-end execution of project-based purchase orders from placement through delivery and goods receipt.
- Coordinates suppliers, logistics providers, and cross-functional teams to ensure on-time project execution.
- Provides leadership with clear delivery plans, project status, and proactive risk identification and mitigation.
- Serves as the primary procurement interface for customer project execution, including delivery updates and issue resolution.
- Drives accountability across the supply chain to improve delivery performance and customer satisfaction.
- Supports additional procurement activities as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, or 5+ years related experience in project management supporting procurement, supply chain, and operations.
- Proven experience working with suppliers, manufacturers, freight providers, and internal stakeholders, supporting customer-facing projects.
Required Knowledge & Skills
- Strong knowledge of procurement, supply chain operations, supplier management, inventory planning, logistics, and contract administration.
- Proven project management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple priorities, manage schedules, track milestones, and mitigate project risks.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and suppliers without direct authority.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities, with a demonstrated sense of ownership, accountability, and attention to detail.
- Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to driving operational excellence, on-time delivery, and continuous process improvement.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, ERP/procurement systems, project management software, and scheduling tools such as Microsoft Project or Smartsheet.
