Job Description

As a Security Officer Armed Field Patrol in Nashville, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and support visitors and employees with exceptional service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, vendors, and/or guests at a technology, media, or telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services as directed by post orders.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, parking areas, perimeter boundaries, and other assigned areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials, visitor authorization, and delivery activity in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of patrols, incidents, observations, and actions taken, and maintain professional communication with Allied Universal leadership and site personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Experience with handcuffs, pepper spray, and baton is preferred.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
