Description
Contract Length: 3 Months
Pay Rate: $80-90/hour
- Serve as the key FP&A partner to the Chief People Officer and EVP of Corporate Development.
- Manage the People and Places financial analyst.
- Drive the budgeting and forecasting processes for the People & Places and Corporate Development functions, including partnering with the business on strategic initiatives, optimizing spend portfolios while maintaining 1% forecast accuracy, and owning insightful analysis on headcount, spend, and other key operational drivers and metrics.
- Continuously evolve budgeting and forecasting processes as business needs change.
- Participate in the company's long-range strategic planning as applicable.
- Manage frequent ad hoc and strategic projects to support senior management and business decision-making.
- Take on expanded scope as business needs evolve.
- Lead process and systems improvement and scaling projects within your area and the broader FP&A function, partnering across cross-functional teams to support the company's continued growth.
- Able and willing to work from the San Francisco office as needed, once a week or more.
- 7–10 years of experience in FP&A.
- Strong business acumen and demonstrated experience partnering with senior leadership.
- Excellent financial modeling and analysis skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and PowerPoint/Google Slides.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment while maintaining a high level of precision.
- Ability to challenge the status quo and bring forward new ways of thinking.
- Experience with Anaplan and Tableau.
- Experience in a global high tech, software, or SaaS organization.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field required.
