Senior Operations Officer Consultant

Mission Overview:

This is a consultancy mission at a client site, representing Keystone Solutions. As a Keystone Solutions consultant, you will be hired to work on client projects, bringing your expertise and values to every engagement.

Role Description:

• Contribute to the continuous enhancement and documentation of operational processes.
• Provide transparent, qualitative, and detailed information to the AMLCO to ensure regulatory and group reporting.
• Participate in the continuous Risk and Control Assessment process by raising awareness on the evolution of risk exposure.

KYC Responsibilities:

• Support and guide business teams (Sales, Boarding) for onboarding and recertification of clients.
• Contribute to onboarding and recertification of clients presenting an aggravated level of risk.
• Ensure correct application of the Acceptance Policy.
• Verify completeness of KYC files, including documentary evidence.
• Liaise with colleagues from the bank to collect complementary information on common customers.
• Conduct extra verifications and/or request additional data or documentation when necessary.
• Advise business on necessary steps following verifications and confirm appropriate level of validation of business relationships.
• Advise Senior Management or Acceptance Committee for approval of business relationships.
• Escalate any suspicions of money laundering by submitting an UAR to the AMLCO in a timely manner.

AML Responsibilities:

• Support and guide business for handling AML alerts at the first level of control.
• Analyse AML alerts escalated to the second level of control.
• Liaise with colleagues from the bank to collect complementary information on common customers and related transactional activity.
• Conduct in-depth investigations and/or request additional data or documentation when necessary.
• Advise business on necessary steps following investigations (recertification, closure of alert, offboarding, etc.).
• Escalate any suspicions of money laundering by submitting an UAR to the AMLCO in a timely manner.

PEP and Sanctions Screening:

• Support and guide business for handling PEP and sanctions screening alerts at the first level of control.
• Analyse PEP and sanctions screening alerts escalated to the second level of control.
• Liaise with colleagues from the bank to collect complementary information on common customers.
• Conduct extra verifications and/or request additional data or documentation when necessary.
• Advise business on necessary steps following verifications (recertification, closure of alert, blocking terminals/payouts, offboarding, etc.).
• Immediately escalate any potential sanctions hit to the AMLCO.

Language Requirements:

• Dutch: Strong written and spoken communication skills.
• French: Strong written and spoken communication skills.
• English: Profound knowledge.

Education:

• Bachelor or Master degree.

Telework:

• Expectation: 50% on site & 50% homeworking.

Required Experience:

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in a similar role.

Technical Experience:

• Mandatory: Good expertise in MS Office, familiar with various IT tools.
• Preferable: Familiar with Salesforce.

Business Experience:

• Preferable: Strong interest in finance and banking (products), experience with payment solutions.
