Job Description

As a Armed Security Officer - Bissonnet St in Bellaire, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer in a retail location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide outstanding customer service. This driving post requires a valid driver's license and Level III Armed Certification. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, customers, and store personnel while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location, parking areas, loading areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and policy concerns.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site protocols and applicable laws.
• Maintain a professional armed presence while operating assigned equipment in accordance with Allied Universal policies, licensing requirements, and post orders.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activity accurately, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and responding personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, corrections, or military experience, or at least 5 years of armed security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
