About the job 

Based at Mandarin Oriental The Landmark, Hong Kong within Public Relations in Hong Kong, the Assistant Digital Marketing Manager is responsible for supporting the Director of Marketing Communications with the hotel’s overall digital and social presence and smooth user-experience across all the revenue pillars of the Hotel. The Assistant Digital Marketing Manager reports to the Director of Marketing Communications. 

As Assistant Digital Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for the following duties:

Digital Presence and Online Communications:

• Ensuring that hotel website is continuously updated and changes are submitted to head office, in correct format as needed
• Responsible for managing all web platforms for LMHKG
• Responsible for all monthly website content updates as well as menu updates for Food & Beverage team, Spa, Rooms and any other department
• Responsible for daily monitoring of competitor movements and promotions, as well as our monthly competitor reports
• Daily monitoring and replying in a timely fashion of travel review websites
• Responsible for our Monthly Reporting on Web Analytics and Social Media statistics

Online Shop:

• Increase the revenue performance of the online shop.
• Oversee all SEM/SEO strategies to boost the visibility and performance of the online shop, including liaising with our agency
• Manage Social Media ads to drive traffic and conversion to the online shop i.e. Facebook and Instagram
• Upload all new products in a timely fashion.
• Responsible for monthly reports on revenue production and recommendations on how to increase sales

Digital Marketing:

• Research to find the right digital marketing agencies and oversee directly with them on running a successful campaign
• Have a clear understanding of how to implement and execute a successful digital marketing campaign
• Able to operate and carry out paid social ads on Facebook/Instagram
• Implement tracking code URLs to evaluate the success of a campaign
• Knowledgeable on Google Analytics, Data Studio, Shopping and other Google products to evaluate the success of an online campaign
• Have a clear understanding of Adobe Analytics and provide analytical data on online ad performance
• Work with MOHG digital marketing team on implementing PPC, Metasearch, visual ads

Online Partners:

• Planning, implementing and executing all social media and digital related promotions to build continuous growth for LMHKG’s social media foundation
• Liaising and building relationships with online partners on promotional opportunities such as competitions, promotions, events, etc.

Other:

• Assists with developing an overall, annual direct marketing plan for LMHKG
• Attend Marcomm Meetings on a monthly basis and keep the minutes updates
• Mentors and trains departmental marketing trainee
• Perform any other reasonable duties as required by the Director of Marketing Communications

As Assistant Digital Marketing Manager, we expect from you:

• Degree holder in Marketing, Communications, Hospitality Management or relevant discipline
• Minimum of 3 years relevant working experience and of similar capacity, preferably in luxury hotel
• Excellent written and spoken English, Cantonese and Putonghua
• Good business acumen with analytical mind in developing and implementing communication strategies
• Strong background in brand positioning, storytelling, and developing partnerships
• Experienced with digital content, social media, and CRM strategies
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively at all levels of colleagues and guests
