Project Information
The Binduli Reservoir project delivers new water storage infrastructure for the Kalgoorlie region in Western Australia. You will join the ACCIONA Infrastructure team responsible for its construction, contributing directly to long-term water security and a more reliable supply for the local community and surrounding Goldfields region.
About the Opportunity
As Procurement Officer on the Binduli Reservoir project, you will report to the Manager Commercial and work with the construction and administration teams to secure materials and services on time. You will run tenders and requests for quotes, shape sourcing strategy, and assess commercial risk to protect cost, time and quality. You will analyse spend and supplier performance, and negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors. This role gives you influence over how a major regional project buys and a clear step forward in your commercial career at ACCIONA.
Key accountabilities for the position will be:
- Manage timely supply of materials and services to the project.
- Run expressions of interest, quotes and tenders for sourcing packages.
- Shape sourcing strategy to manage commercial and contractual risk.
- Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to deliver best value.
- Assess contract terms, conditions and amendments for supply packages.
- Analyse spend and supplier performance to cut cost and lift value.
- Monitor contract compliance and resolve deviations promptly.
Required Skills and Competencies
What capability and experience will you need to have:
- Have procurement experience on large civil construction projects.
- Understand tendering, probity and contractual risk.
- Analyse spend data using Excel or procurement software.
- Build ethical working relationships with suppliers and teams.
- Communicate clearly and persuasively with project stakeholders.
