APMs work in close collaboration with consultant leads, finance, and business operations team members for the duration of each client project in their portfolio. An individual portfolio is typically comprised of 20-30 client projects at any point in time, depending on project complexities and timelines. The APM does not support the delivery of services to clients.

Duties and responsibilities for each client project may include, but are not limited to:

  • Support, prepare for, and participate at internal project team kickoff and closeout meetings
  • Track, manage, and update client project progress
    • Communicate status, successes, and areas of concern to consultant project team lead and other internal stakeholders
    • Identify, track, and report potential areas of risk; recommend contingency plans and support risk mitigation strategies
  • Track, manage, and update estimated hours in the context of hours used and total hours projected; reviewing and approving/rejecting project team timecards
  • Track, manage, and update pass-through expenses and expense reports, as appropriate
  • Track, manage, and update client invoicing process
  • Reconcile NetSuite (business management software) and Kantata project data as necessary (weekly, monthly, annually)
  • Liaise with Finance for Sales Order development
  • Liaise with internal collaborators to co-create, co-manage, co-update Kantata project workspaces for collaborative projects
  • Attend internal project kickoff meeting
  • Manage change order processes in NetSuite and Kantata
  • Comply with established standards, policies, and procedures
  • Contribute to internal process improvement initiatives, especially those involving project management

Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree in business, marketing, communications, or other relevant field combined with a strong interest in a project management career
  • Detail-oriented, resourceful, responsible, tenacious, independent, and self-confident
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English)
