The Opportunity

The Reporting Analyst is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining reports, dashboards, and data analyses for both internal and external stakeholders. This role will leverage data from multiple systems to provide meaningful insights that support operational and business decision-making.

The ideal candidate has 2-4 years of experience working with reporting and analytics solutions, strong SQL skills, experience with Salesforce, and proficiency with business intelligence tools. They should be comfortable working independently, managing competing priorities, and collaborating across technical and business teams. This position reports directly to the Operations and Maintenance Manager.

What You Will Do:

Responsibilities

· Query and analyze data from multiple systems and databases using SQL and other reporting tools.

· Develop, maintain, and enhance reports, dashboards, and analytical solutions for clients and internal stakeholders.

· Create ad hoc reports and data requests in support of business and client needs.

· Validate data accuracy and identify anomalies, trends, or potential issues within reporting environments.

· Collaborate with Operations, Product, and Technology teams to understand reporting requirements and deliver actionable insights.

· Support the identification, review, and remediation of security, compliance, and data governance risks.

· Participate in report design, development, testing, documentation, and deployment activities.

· Work with technical writers and business stakeholders to document report specifications, business requirements, and dashboard objectives.

· Assist with troubleshooting reporting issues and responding to client inquiries related to reporting outputs.

Requirements

What You Will Need to Succeed

Required Qualifications

· 2-4 years of experience in a reporting, business intelligence, data analyst, or related role.

· Strong SQL skills with experience writing complex queries and validating results.

· Experience with Business Intelligence and reporting platforms (Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or similar tools).

· Experience working with relational databases such as Microsoft SQL Server.

· Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

· Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.

Preferred Qualifications / Nice to Have

· Experience within the 529, RESP, financial services, education savings, or investment services industries.

· Experience working in highly regulated environments with strict security and compliance requirements (HIPAA, SOC 2, PCI-DSS, or similar frameworks).

· Experience with Salesforce reporting and data structures.

· Experience using JIRA or similar work management tools.

· Experience creating dashboards and executive-level reporting.

· Basic understanding of data governance, data quality, and information security principles.
