In the Corporate Services division, we provide solutions that enable Morgan Stanley’s workforce, across our global workplace locations, to effectively and efficiently work in the service of our clients. This is a P5 position within Accounts Payable & Receivables, which specializes in maintaining the Purchase Ledger function and ensuring the payment of all invoices and expense claims. Our responsibilities include ledger reconciliation, all invoice and expense claim queries, and accounts receivable.

We empower our multi-faceted and talented teams to advance their careers and make a global impact on the business. For those who show passion and grit in their work, there’s ample opportunity to move across the businesses.
What you’ll do in the role:
- Lead Source to Pay Operations across Asia, with accountability for Procurement Operations, Accounts Payable and Payments supporting multiple countries, legal entities and business lines across the region.
- Provide governance oversight for the offshore delivery centers in Bengaluru and Manila, including service delivery, operational performance, workforce management, controls, issue escalation and alignment with the Firm’s risk and governance framework.
- Lead, develop and engage a geographically dispersed organization, building leadership capability, clear accountability, succession strength and a collaborative, high-performing culture across the region.
- Own the regional risk and control environment, ensuring operations comply with Firm policies and applicable regulatory requirements, and partnering with Finance, Tax, Legal, Compliance, Audit and other stakeholders to address emerging obligations and operational risks.
- Partner with Sourcing, Technology, business units and external service providers to simplify, automate and improve purchase order, invoice and payment processes, while advancing the global Source to Pay strategy and delivering consistent service quality.
- Establish and manage performance governance through service levels, key performance and risk indicators, senior leadership reviews, root-cause analysis and remediation plans, while maintaining current procedures, controls and supporting documentation.
What you’ll bring to the role:
- 10+ years of progressive experience in Source to Pay, Procure to Pay, Accounts Payable, Procurement Operations or a related operations discipline, including substantial regional leadership responsibility.
- Demonstrated experience overseeing outsourced or offshore delivery models, including service performance, governance, risk and controls, workforce planning and senior-level provider engagement.
- Strong understanding of end-to-end purchasing, invoice processing and payment operations, together with the accounting, tax, regulatory and control considerations relevant to Asia.
- Proven ability to lead complex, multi-country operations and transformation initiatives, manage competing priorities, and deliver through geographically dispersed teams and cross-functional partnerships.
- Strategic and innovative mindset, with experience identifying opportunities for process simplification, automation, data-driven management and improved stakeholder experience.
- Executive-level communication, influence and judgment, with the ability to build trusted relationships, facilitate decisions, manage critical issues and operate effectively with senior stakeholders and external partners.
