Financial Controller 

Our client is a high-end golf course, one of the most prestigious in Thailand, located in Chonburi.

Title of Position: Financial Controller

Package: 130,000 - 150,000 THB

Review:

To ensure accurate, compliant, and effective financial management of the Company by overseeing accounting operations, financial reporting, budgeting, internal controls, taxation, cash flow, and statutory requirements, while providing financial advice and business analysis to support management decision-making and long-term organizational sustainability.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in accounting and finance, with at least 5 years in a senior management or Financial Controller role.
• Strong knowledge of Thai accounting standards, financial reporting, taxation, VAT, withholding tax, corporate income tax, and statutory compliance.
• Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, financial analysis, and management reporting.
• Strong understanding of internal controls, audit processes, asset management, purchasing control, and cost control.
• Ability to lead and supervise the Accounting & Finance team effectively.
• High level of integrity, confidentiality, accuracy, and attention to detail.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Good communication and coordination skills, with the ability to work closely with the General Manager, department heads, auditors, banks, and government agencies.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, accounting software, and Microsoft Office.

Preferred

• CPA, CPD, or other professional accounting certifications are an advantage.
• Experience in hospitality, hotel, golf club, country club, private club, or service-related business is highly preferred.
• Experience working with expatriate management or international business environments.
• Strong business acumen with the ability to provide financial advice to support strategic decision- making.
• Experience in system improvement, internal control enhancement, or finance process transformation.
• Strong leadership style with the ability to develop team members and ensure smooth succession planning.
• Experience in working through a handover or transition period with a retiring Financial Controller or senior finance leader.
• Knowledge of inventory control, cost control, CAPEX control, and operational finance in hospitality or club operations.
