As an Unarmed Security Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and patients. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond to security-related needs with integrity. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, patients, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities in a healthcare-related location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity, unsecured areas, and/or potential hazards.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and maintain accurate logs and incident documentation.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services when needed.
• Support a professional healthcare environment by communicating respectfully, following confidentiality expectations, and reporting security-related concerns to Allied Universal leadership and site management.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
