Role summary:The (USA) Technician, Facility Services, Exterior Services, is responsible for managing and executing exterior maintenance and repair projects to ensure safe, efficient, and sustainable facility operations. This role involves coordinating resources, overseeing third-party providers, and maintaining compliance with safety and environmental regulations. The technician evaluates facility needs, implements improvements to reduce costs, and performs seasonal maintenance activities. Strong attention to quality, safety, and operational standards is essential, along with effective communication and collaboration with internal teams and external partners to support facility excellence and continuous improvement.
About the team:
The Facilities Services team ensures safe and efficient store operations by managing HVAC, refrigeration, electrical, and building systems. Senior Technicians independently diagnose and resolve complex issues to maintain continuous service. The team emphasizes accountability, collaboration, and safety while delivering operational excellence. Members develop technical expertise through hands-on problem-solving and managing urgent challenges. What you'll do:
- Operate and maintain exterior facility equipment, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
- Plan, prioritize, and execute scheduled maintenance and repair projects, managing resources and workforce needs.
- Source, approve, and verify purchases of parts, materials, and tools to support facility operations.
- Conduct quality assurance inspections and troubleshoot issues to maintain safe, functional, and sustainable exterior environments.
- Manage snow and ice removal, seasonal landscaping, and exterior cleaning activities to uphold facility standards.
- Lead third-party providers, providing coaching and performance evaluations.
- Maintain vehicles and equipment, ensuring operational readiness and compliance with company policies.
What you'll bring:
- Proven experience managing facility services with strong organizational and project management skills.
- Ability to prepare and execute budgets, including cost estimation and purchase approvals.
- Knowledge of OSHA and EPA regulations, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standards.
- Skilled in operating and maintaining powered equipment and vehicles safely and efficiently.
- Strong troubleshooting and customer service capabilities to resolve facility-related issues.
- Experience leading third-party providers and conducting quality assurance inspections.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with various teams and stakeholders.

The hourly wage range for this position is $19.00 - $35.00* *The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
