Senior Treasury Analyst

The role serves as a core member of the Treasury support team supporting U.S. Treasury process, responsible for maintaining daily cash management operations, liquidity forecasting, payment funding oversight, banking administration, and trade credit insurance coordination across Dentsu Americas. This role operates under the principle that Treasury monitors and quantifies risk and timing — while partner functions execute. The Analyst ensures uninterrupted continuity across forecasting, payments, and banking operations, serving as the primary U.S. Treasury contact for internal stakeholders, Group Treasury, and external banking and insurance partners.

Key responsibilities:

Cash Management and Forecasting
• Prepare and distribute daily, 4-day, and full-month U.S. cash forecasts to Group Treasury and UK Treasury.
• Monitor receipts versus forecast, ACH run estimates, and short-term liquidity gaps daily.
• Escalate liquidity risks, overdraft exposure, and timing mismatches — particularly around month-end and large media payment runs.
• Provide intraday forecast updates during high-variance periods as warranted by market or operational conditions.
• Maintain and update the master cash forecast file (USA – 2026 Cash Forecast.xlsx) and supporting models.
Payments and Funding
• Confirm funding availability for urgent and high-value payments including media, payroll, tax, and ad-hoc disbursements.
• Investigate and resolve ACH debit returns, rejected vendor payments, and value-date discrepancies in coordination with JPMorgan Chase and Accounts Payable.
• Approve and support manual wire payments and high-value disbursements; provide transaction traces, UETRs, and bank reference documentation.
• Serve as the backup Treasury contract for same-day payroll and statutory wires (401k, benefits), ensuring timely funding confirmation.
Banking and Liquidity Facilities
• Administer JPMorgan Chase portal security including SADF form submissions for user access changes, read-only vs. payment access setup, and additional administrator management.
• Coordinate overdraft and sweep facility renewals (e.g., Eaton Gate LLC), working with Legal and authorized signatories through JPM submission.
• Maintain U.S. bank account documentation, account listings, and support new account requests including foreign currency account rationale and approvals.
Trade Credit Insurance
• Coordinate day-to-day U.S. trade credit insurance requests and coverage changes with Allianz Trade and internal Credit Management teams.
• Conduct monthly reviews of ageing and exceed reports, appeals listings, and third-party insurance reports to ensure adequate client coverage.
• Monitor overdue aging buckets for Non-Payment Notification (NPN) eligibility and coordinate filing requirements with business lines.
• Relay insurer status to stakeholders; Credit Management maintains documentation of approval authority for coverage decisions or risk acceptance.
Process Improvement and Transformation
• Identify system limitations and data quality gaps in current forecasting models; contribute to solution design and testing.
• Support bi-weekly Treasury / Operations / AP check-ins and cross-functional coordination with AR, Media Finance, and banking partners.
• Document processes, workarounds, and institutional knowledge to support operational continuity and SOX/ICF compliance.
Decision Framework and Request Routing
• Apply a standardized triage checklist to all inbound requests: classify, verify required information, confirm Treasury ownership, assess liquidity and urgency, and close the loop with a named action owner.

Knowledge and Qualifications

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, ICWAI/CMA, CTP, MBA, or Semi-Qualified Chartered Accountant.
• 7–9 years of experience in corporate treasury, cash management, or related finance functions.
• Direct experience with daily cash forecasting, payment operations, and bank portal administration.
• Experience with trade credit insurance processes and insurer coordination is a strong plus.
• Prior exposure to a multinational or holding-company environment with intercompany funding structures preferred.
Systems and Tools
• JPMorgan Chase Portal — cash positions, loan interest reporting, SADF administration, and payment investigations.
• Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) ERP integration for payables, receivables, and intercompany accounting.
• Power BI — AR aging reports, cash forecasting dashboards, and variance analysis.
• Coupa Treasury (Bellin) treasury management system for approval, routing, and reporting.
• FastPay — payment execution and disbursement processing.
• Microsoft Teams — daily coordination with Group Treasury, AP, and cross-functional partners.

• Push back on requests that are execution- or chase-only and do not require a Treasury risk or timing decision.
