As a Senior Treasury Analyst based in Ireland, you’ll join a global leader in insurance, risk management, and consulting services. This hybrid role offers the opportunity to work on impactful global initiatives, manage investments, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive organisational success.
How you'll make an impact
In this role, you’ll play a pivotal part in managing and improving Gallagher’s investment programme. You’ll research and direct the placement of excess cash, oversee monthly investment performance reporting, and maintain global investments using the Kyriba treasury management system.
You’ll also:
- Execute foreign currency trades using Bloomberg and manage pre- and post-trade coordination.
- Prepare divisional cash forecasts and partner with local finance teams for analysis.
- Monitor and manage intercompany loan portfolios and lead cross-border settlements.
- Assist in implementing multilateral netting and stay informed on market trends, currency fluctuations, and restrictions.
- Provide ad hoc reports to senior leaders on investment performance, forecasts, and portfolio composition.
Your work will directly contribute to the organisation’s financial health and strategic goals, ensuring that Gallagher continues to thrive globally.
About you
Here’s what you’ll bring to the role:
- A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or Accounting.
- 3-6 years of relevant experience in treasury, banking, or finance.
- A strong understanding of capital markets, including treasury, short-term secured funding markets, and money market funds.
- Proficiency in cash forecasting and sound cash management principles.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills (VBA is desirable).
- Exposure to AI applications and prompts is beneficial.
- A CFA, CAIA, or FRM designation (or working towards one) is desirable.
- A proven ability to manage multiple projects under deadlines and communicate findings effectively.
