Your Opportunity
Looking for a role where your administration skills can make a genuine difference in your local community?
Mission Australia is seeking an organised, customer-focused Administration Officer to join the Coffs Harbour Mission Australia Centre (MAC). This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a well-established community hub that connects individuals and families with the services, support, and resources they need to thrive. This position offers the security of a full-time, 5-day-per-week contract through to February 2027, with the opportunity to continue in the role 3 days per week beyond February 2027, subject to operational requirements.
As the welcoming face of the Centre, you'll play a vital role in creating a positive experience for community members, visitors, and service providers. Working closely with the Centre Coordinator and wider team, you'll provide high-quality reception and administrative support that helps keep the Centre running smoothly and efficiently.
No two days will be the same as you support a busy and purpose-driven environment focused on strengthening community connections and improving outcomes for people experiencing disadvantage.
Your key responsibilities will be to:
- Provide professional reception services, including managing enquiries, phone calls, appointments, and visitor support.
- Deliver exceptional, person-centred and trauma-informed customer service to a diverse range of community members.
- Assist individuals to connect with appropriate services and supports.
- Provide administrative support including document preparation, data entry, correspondence, meeting coordination, filing, and records management.
- Maintain client confidentiality and ensure information is managed in accordance with Mission Australia policies.
- Support staff with Mission Australia systems and government platforms.
- Manage office supplies and coordinate general site administration requirements.
- Help maintain a safe, welcoming, and professional environment for visitors, staff, and community partners.
- Contribute positively to a collaborative and supportive team culture.
Requirements for Success

- Certificate in Business Administration or similar qualification (highly regarded).
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage respectfully with people from diverse backgrounds.
