What you'll do...
Role summary:The Senior Manager, Total Rewards Services, leads the execution and continuous improvement of companywide compensation and rewards programs. This role collaborates with cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions, ensuring alignment with business strategies and regulatory compliance. The position oversees project planning, performance management, and change initiatives while mentoring associates to foster a high-performing team environment. By analyzing market trends and operational effectiveness, the Senior Manager drives efficiencies and supports the delivery of competitive, agile Total Rewards programs that meet evolving organizational needs and promote sustained business success.
About the team:
The Base Pay Operations team manages the administration and execution of Walmart’s base pay programs, ensuring compliance with wage regulations and company policies. This team collaborates closely with Total Rewards, Payroll, People Services, Finance, Legal, Communications, and Technology to design and sustain compensation solutions aligned with business goals. The Senior Manager leads complex initiatives, drives process improvements, oversees audits, and provides data insights to support decision-making. As people leaders, they develop talent, set priorities, and ensure timely delivery of scalable compensation programs across various workforce segments, fostering operational excellence and strategic alignment.
What you'll do:
- Lead execution of companywide Base Pay Incentives and Total Rewards programs, collaborating with stakeholders to optimize processes and financial performance.
- Develop and implement project plans, identifying opportunities and solutions for complex rewards challenges across business segments.
- Manage compliance with local, federal, and international compensation regulations, partnering with technology and business teams to enhance system frameworks.
- Supervise and mentor associates, establishing performance standards and fostering a high-performing, collaborative team environment.
- Drive continuous improvement by analyzing program effectiveness, benchmarking industry practices, and supporting change management initiatives.
- Communicate business plans and priorities, removing obstacles to ensure timely delivery of Total Rewards solutions.
What you'll bring:
- Proven expertise in compensation strategy and total rewards program management across multiple markets.
- Strong leadership skills with experience coaching, mentoring, and developing high-performing teams.
- Demonstrated ability in project and change management, driving process improvements and stakeholder collaboration.
- Proficiency with Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) and workflow management to support program delivery.
- Excellent communication and judgment skills to influence cross-functional teams and resolve complex challenges.
- Adaptability to evolving business needs and regulatory environments, ensuring compliance and operational excellence.

The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00 - $180,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
